Hyundai has finally launched the 2022 Tucson between ₹27.7 lakh and ₹34.39 lakh. The premium flagship SUV from Hyundai has been off to a great start with more than 3000 bookings already done. The 2022 Tucson comes loaded with a host of safety features. As standard, it comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic stability control (ESC), Vehicle stability management (VSM), Hill-start assist control (HAC), Downhill brake control (DBC), Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and ISOFIX child mounts. It also comes with an electric parking brake with auto hold for added convenience. Additionally, it comes with front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a Blind View Monitor which is a first in the segment! It also comes with Hyundai’s Bluelink connected car technology which includes SOS and vehicle tracking.

The Hyundai Tucson has managed to come out on top in every crash test around the world. The SUV has scored 5 stars in Euro NCAP, Australia NCAP, and has also been the top-ranked SUV at NHATSA evaluations. Speaking of its performance in Euro NCAP, the Tucson scored 86 percent in adult occupant safety. The car remained stable in the frontal offset test, and provided good protection to the head and legs of the driver and passenger, with marginal to adequate protection to the chest area. In lateral impact and rear impact, the car performed exceedingly well and scored 15.4 out of 16 points for the former and 4/4 for the latter. In terms of child safety, the car secured a score of 87 percent, with a very good score of 23.8 out of 24 in crash test performance.

The Tucson also scored 70 percent for safety assist onboard thanks to the raft of driver assistance that it comes with. All in all, the Tuscon has proved itself to be one of the safest SUVs that you can buy under the ₹50 lakh mark. The SUV has also proved itself in all the crash tests around the world which means that it is only safe on paper, but also in the real world.
