Erik Buell Racing recently published a teaser pic of its upcoming EBR 1190 RX streetbike.

There aren’t many official details of the upcoming bike but it is being said that the soon-to-be-launched EBR 1190 RX would be a street-legal version of the 1190 RS racebike.

Powering the bike would be a retuned version of the 1190cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine that powers the RS. For the 1190RS racebike, the engine boasts of  a max power output of 175 hp@9750 rpm and a peak torque of 97 ft-lb@9400 rpm.

The 1190 RX is expected to be later joined by EBR 1190 SX and EBR 1190 AX. The 1190AX would be an adventure-styled sport-tourer and the 1190SX could be the entry level model, with SX standing for Standard.

A caption that was published along with the image that you see here reads: “The truck is at Laguna Seca, set up in the paddock. Anyone coming, stop by and say hello. Also you can see one of the 2013 RS models under the tent… We are currently building 35 more of these handbuilt ones in advance of ramping up the full production line for the RX.”
