Weeks after the launch of 2027 Versys 650 in India, Kawasaki has added the bigger Versys 1100 to its MY27 range. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), with deliveries scheduled to start from mid-September 2026.
The Versys 1100 continues with its large four-cylinder engine and touring-friendly setup. Kawasaki has also added a few convenience updates, including a USB Type-C port, revised braking hardware and an improved quickshifter available as an accessory.
Engine And Gearbox
The motorcycle uses a 1,099cc liquid-cooled, inline-four engine. It produces 135 PS at 9,000rpm and 112 Nm at 7,600rpm and gets a six-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki has made changes to the engine and gearing to improve the way the motorcycle uses its power.

Suspension And Brakes
The Versys 1100 uses long-travel suspension, with 150mm travel at the front and 152mm at the rear. The setup is designed around road riding and long-distance travel.
Braking hardware includes large front discs with four-piston radial-mount monobloc callipers and a rear disc. Kawasaki also uses its KIBS and KCMF electronic systems to manage braking and engine behaviour.

Touring Features
The Kawasaki Versys 1100 is explicitly designed for long-distance comfort, and its equipment reflects that. It gets a 21-litre fuel tank, adjustable windscreen and an upright riding position.
The windscreen can be adjusted from the rider’s seat. There is also a USB Type-C outlet on the handlebar and a 12V DC socket. Other equipment includes:

The motorcycle weighs 257kg and has an 820mm seat height. It gets 150mm of ground clearance and a 1,520mm wheelbase. Kawasaki will offer the MY27 Versys 1100 in Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black.
