Royal Enfield Art Of Motorcycling Season 6 Gets A Retro Gaming Twist

A motorcycle can be many things to a person. For some, it is a way to travel, while for others it becomes a part of their identity. Royal Enfield is now asking artists to show that connection through a very different lens. The sixth season of its Art Of Motorcycling platform has been announced with a retro gaming theme called Game Mode On.

The new edition takes inspiration from the 16 bit and 32 bit gaming era. Artists can bring motorcycles into their own virtual worlds and create artwork that looks like it belongs on an old school game cover.

The idea gives creators plenty of room to experiment. A design could show a pixel based road trip, a strange new city or even a fantasy world. There is no fixed story that every participant has to follow.

What artists can create

Entries can be made digitally or by hand. The main contest will bring together creators from several regions and will have a global stage after the initial regional selection.

Some key details are:

  • The theme for Season 6 is Game Mode On
  • Entries can use 16 bit or 32 bit gaming inspired visuals
  • Both digital and hand drawn artwork are accepted
  • The contest will cover 13 regions
  • The UK is included for the first time
  • A Riders Choice award will allow fans to vote
  • Seven global winners will receive a sponsored trip to Motoverse 2026

The contest is not limited to professional artists. Royal Enfield has also introduced a Kids Edition for participants in India. This category will accept hand drawn artwork and gives younger creators their own space to take part.

A growing global platform

Art Of Motorcycling started in 2020 and has grown far beyond its original Indian audience. Royal Enfield says the platform has received more than 150,000 registrations since its launch. The contest expanded internationally in 2024 and now covers countries across Asia Pacific, Latin America and other regions.

For this season, the participating regions include India, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and the UK.

The entries will first go through regional selections before the shortlisted works reach the global level. A jury will assess the designs, while the community will have its say through the Riders Choice award.

Important dates

Registrations opened on August 28, 2026. Participants can submit their entries after the jury is revealed on September 11.

  • Registration closes on October 21
  • Winners will be announced between November 5 and November 10
  • Motoverse 2026 takes place in Goa from November 27 to 29

The seven winning designs will also get a special showcase at Motoverse 2026. Their artwork will be featured on exclusive Art Of Motorcycling apparel.
