After Kushaq and Slavia, the Sportline badge has made its way to the youngest member of Skoda’s India lineup, the Kylaq. The brand has launched the new trim at Rs 11.32 lakh, while the automatic version costs Rs 12.32 lakh, both ex-showroom.
The Kylaq Sportline is not a new mechanical package. Skoda has worked mainly on the design, cabin theme and equipment. It sits between the Signature+ and Prestige trims and gives buyers another choice in the Kylaq range.
Price and gearbox
The new variant is available with two gearbox choices:
- Manual: Rs 11.32 lakh
- Automatic: Rs 12.32 lakh
- Both prices are ex-showroom
- 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque-converter automatic are offered
The expected 8-speed automatic is not part of this update. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine continues to make 115hp and 178Nm.
What does the Sportline get?
The biggest visual change comes from the black treatment used across the SUV. The 17-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs, roof, front and rear diffuser elements and Skoda branding get a darker finish.
There is also a roof-mounted spoiler with vertical strips. Sportline badges are placed on the C-pillar and tailgate. The black Skoda wordmark between the tail-lamps adds another small touch.
What You Get Inside
The cabin follows the darker theme. The roof, dashboard and door trims use a black finish. Leatherette seats get Sportline branding and contrast stitching.

Safety and other updates
The Kylaq continues with six airbags and its 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Skoda has also added Climatronic automatic air-conditioning and a rear defogger to the Classic and Classic+ versions.
Owners can also choose an accessories pack for the Sportline. It adds front bumper corner garnish, dark-chrome grille garnish, fender garnish with Skoda branding and glossy-black body-side moulding.
The Sportline also gets Skoda’s Super Care package. This includes a four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services.
A closer look at the package
The Kylaq Sportline uses the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine found in the rest of the range. It also keeps the existing suspension and wheel setup. The extra appeal comes from the darker styling and added cabin features.
For buyers who like the Kylaq but want a more distinctive look, the new trim gives the SUV a fresh option. It does not bring a new engine or the 8-speed automatic, but the Sportline adds more equipment and a different character to Skoda’s compact SUV.
