VinFast Ships Over 5,000 EVs in Its 37th and 38th Global Export Batches

Vietnamese automaker VinFast has achieved another major milestone in its global journey. The company has shipped more than 5,000 electric vehicles through its 37th and 38th dedicated export batches. The latest shipments left Hai Phong Port in Vietnam on two special vehicle carrier ships and will serve customers across Europe and Southeast Asia.

The new export batches show that VinFast is steadily increasing its international presence. Along with its electric vehicle business, the company is also supporting the expansion of Green SM, its all electric ride hailing service, into new countries.

Sea Patris Carries VF 6 Models to Europe

The Luxembourg flagged Sea Patris loaded around 1,500 VinFast VF 6 electric SUVs. These vehicles have been produced for Green SM to support its upcoming expansion in Europe.

The ship departed on July 21 and is expected to follow this route:

  • Stop at Nansha Port in China
  • Continue towards Morocco
  • Reach Koper Port in Slovenia by late August, subject to weather conditions

After reaching Slovenia, the vehicles will be transported to different European markets where Green SM plans to start operations.

Silver Queen Heads to Southeast Asia

The Panama flagged Silver Queen loaded more than 3,500 VinFast electric vehicles. Its next destinations include:

  • Batangas in the Philippines
  • Jakarta in Indonesia

The vessel is expected to arrive in both markets during August 2026.

VinFast’s Growing Export Network

Silver Queen has been an important part of VinFast’s export operations. Since late 2022, it has completed 20 earlier shipments carrying thousands of VinFast vehicles to markets including the United States, Canada, the Philippines and Indonesia. The latest voyage is its 21st trip for the company.

VinFast has also chartered 16 additional RORO ships to support its growing export business.

The company is now present in more than 10 international markets, including the United States, Canada, Europe, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and the Middle East. Green SM has also expanded beyond Vietnam with services in Laos, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and the Philippines, with Europe expected to be its next destination.
