Bajaj updates Chetak range with more power, higher speed, new features

Bajaj Auto has updated the Bajaj Chetak range with new features, more power and better usability. The lineup also gets a new naming style with C25, C30 and C35 series.

This update brings changes across all variants, from entry level to top model. Bajaj also continues its focus on durability with the Chetak known for its strong and reliable build.

C35 series updates

The top models see the biggest changes.

  • Peak power increased to 4.8 kW
  • Top speed now up to 80 kmph
  • Earlier top speed was around 73 kmph
  • Google Maps added through app integration
  • Touchscreen available on top variant
  • OTA updates now supported
  • Ride modes Eco and Sport now standard
  • Hill hold assist now standard

Prices for this range now go up to around Rs 1.39 lakh for the top variant.

C30 series updates

Mid range models also get useful upgrades.

  • Higher motor output
  • Top speed increased to 70 kmph
  • Earlier top speed was 63 kmph
  • Ride modes added as standard
  • Hill hold assist included
  • Faster portable charger included
  • Charging time reduced to around 2 hours 55 minutes

Price for this model is now around Rs 1.03 lakh.

C25 entry level changes

Even the base model gets a small boost.

  • Top speed increased to 60 kmph
  • Earlier top speed was 55 kmph
  • Battery size around 2.5 kWh
  • Claimed range up to 113 km

Price starts at about Rs 89,500.

Range and usability

  • C35 range goes up to around 153 km
  • C30 offers up to 127 km
  • C25 offers up to 113 km

These numbers make the scooter usable for daily city rides.

The biggest highlight is the added features without major changes in design. The top model now feels more modern with navigation and software updates. The lower variants also benefit from practical additions like ride modes and faster charging.
