Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack arrives in India at Rs 61.50 lakh

Mini has introduced a new version of its open top model in India, the new Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack, priced at Rs 61.50 lakh. It arrives as a completely built unit and will be available in small numbers, which adds to its appeal. Bookings have already started and deliveries are now happening.

This model is based on the regular Cooper S Convertible but adds a sportier look through the JCW Pack.

What is new in JCW Pack

This new version is based on the regular Cooper S Convertible, but the focus here is clearly on styling. The JCW Pack adds a sharper and more sporty look without changing the core mechanical setup.

  • New shades like Midnight Black and Legend Grey
  • Bonnet stripes on select colour
  • Gloss black finish on grille, mirrors and body parts
  • New front and rear bumper styling
  • 17 inch black alloy wheels
  • JCW sport brakes
  • Black soft top roof

The overall look feels more aggressive compared to the standard version.

Roof and exterior details

One of the highlights remains the open top experience!

  • Electric soft top opens in 18 seconds
  • Can be used like a sunroof as well
  • Works at low speeds up to 30 kmph
  • LED headlamps with custom light pattern

These small details add to the open top driving feel.

Cabin and features

Inside, the theme is mostly black with small red highlights.

  • JCW sports seats with better support
  • JCW steering wheel with paddle shifters
  • 9.4 inch circular OLED touchscreen
  • Head up display
  • Harman Kardon sound system
  • Wireless charging
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Digital key and connected features

The dashboard layout stays the same but the sporty touch is clearly visible.

Engine and performance

Mechanically, everything stays the same. The car continues with a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine that produces around 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. The car can go from 0 to 100 kmph in about 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of around 237 kmph. Fuel efficiency is rated at about 16.8 km per litre.

The performance remains quick and smooth just like the standard car.

Price and availability

The car is priced at Rs 61.50 lakh ex showroom, which is roughly Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh higher than the standard version, and since it is offered in limited numbers, it adds a sense of exclusivity for buyers who want something more unique.
