Bajaj Chetak C25 Reaches Showrooms with Surprise Rs 4,299 Discount for First 10,000 Buyers

Walking into an EV showroom today feels different than it did even a year ago. Electric scooters are no longer a niche or experimental thing. They are becoming everyday choices. Bajaj seems to understand this shift well, and the new Chetak C25 is a definite example of that thought.

The Bajaj Chetak C25 has now hit the showrooms across India while the sales and deliveries have officially begun. To celebrate the strong response following the launch, Bajaj is offering an early benefit of Rs 4,299 for the first 10,000 buyers. With this offer applied, the ex-showroom price, Delhi comes down from Rs 91,399 to Rs 87,100.

Positioned as the most accessible Chetak yet, the C25 sits below the Chetak 30 and 35 series. It is clearly designed for daily city use. The scooter has a battery pack of 2.5 kWh and an IDC certified range of 113 km. Power is supplied by a hub motor and the top speed is limited to 55 kmph which is ideal for urban traffic conditions.

Charging is done by a 750 W off board charger. A charge from zero to 80 percent requires approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes, whereas a full charge takes around 3 hours and 45 minutes. Bajaj has also included a little thoughtful feature that allows riders to charge devices like phones while on the move.

The Chetak C25 retains the brand’s familiar metal body. The battery has IP67 water and dust protection rating. Other highlights are a front disc brake, rear drum brake, 170mm ground clearance and a comfortable riding position.

Practical touches stand out. There is 25 litres of under seat storage, tight turning radius for crowded streets, hill hold assist, reverse mode, Eco and Sport ride modes and guide me home lighting.

Available in six colour options, the Chetak C25 comes with a standard warranty of three years or 50,000 km.

The Chetak C25 is a well judged step into electric mobility. It does not attempt to impress by numbers alone. Instead it emphasizes on ease, reliability, and everyday usefulness which is exactly what many city riders are seeking right now.
