Mahindra & Mahindra has marked a significant achievement in its electric vehicle (EV) journey, delivering over 10,000 units of its electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6, within just 70 days since mid-March 2025. This equates to selling approximately one electric SUV every 10 minutes. The company is currently offering only the top-end ‘Pack Three’ variants of these models, each equipped with a substantial 79 kWh battery pack, indicating a strategic focus on premium, long-range electric vehicles.

Booking Frenzy and Delivery Milestone
The BE 6 and XEV 9e were launched in November 2024, with bookings opening on February 14, 2025. The response was overwhelming, with Mahindra recording 30,179 bookings on the first day alone. Deliveries commenced on March 20, 2025, and within just 70 days, the company had delivered over 10,000 units, averaging one delivery every 10 minutes.
Technical Specifications and Features
Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e are built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, offering long-range capability, fast charging, and smart technology designed to appeal to urban professionals, families, and long-distance travelers alike.

- Range: The 79 kWh battery offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 683 km for the BE 6 and 656 km for the XEV 9e.

Mahindra plans to commence deliveries of the mid-spec ‘Pack Two’ variants in July, followed by the entry-level ‘Pack One’ variants in August.
