Toyota Kirloskar Motor has taken the wraps off a new, limited-run variant of its popular MPV—the Innova HyCross Exclusive Edition. Based on the top-spec ZX(O) trim, this Exclusive Edition adds a generous helping of blacked-out styling bits and interior enhancements to dial up the plush quotient, just in time for the summer road trip season.
What’s new?
Visually, the Exclusive Edition grabs your attention with its dual-tone paint scheme—offered in either Super White or Pearl White—with gloss black elements on the roof, front grille, and alloy wheels. There’s more black sprinkled generously across the rear garnish, under-runs, and even the ORVMs. An ‘Exclusive’ badge adds some bragging rights, in case the rest of the makeover wasn’t obvious enough.
Inside, the theme continues with darkened trims for the instrument panel, seat upholstery, and door fabric. Toyota has also thrown in a few added creature comforts: an air purifier, legroom lamps, and a wireless charger to sweeten the deal.

Mechanically though, nothing changes. You still get the trusted 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid setup pushing out 186 PS via an e-drive transmission. Toyota claims the self-charging hybrid system can run in pure EV mode up to 60% of the time, making it a frugal choice for city commuters and long-distance road-trippers alike.
Being based on the ZX(O) trim means this edition comes loaded to the brim—powered ottoman second-row seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, a connected infotainment suite, and Toyota Safety Sense ADAS features. The Ex-showroom price? ₹32.58 lakh across India.
As for competition, the Innova HyCross continues to fend off rivals like the Kia Carnival (though now discontinued), Mahindra XUV700 (especially in the 6- and 7-seater avatars), and even premium 3-row SUVs like the MG Gloster. However, the HyCross still enjoys a sweet spot between luxury MPVs and rugged SUVs by offering a plush yet efficient package.
Final Thoughts: If the regular Innova HyCross was your mom’s reliable tiffin carrier, this Exclusive Edition is the one that also comes with a fancy thermos, a Bluetooth speaker, and a side of panache. It doesn’t scream for attention, but if you’re the kind of person who enjoys low-key bragging with a Toyota badge, your ride has arrived. Just don’t wait too long—it’ll vanish quicker than weekend plans with friends.
