Kia India is celebrating a major milestone! They’ve surpassed 250,000 vehicles exported internationally, solidifying their position as a global leader. This achievement comes just five years after their Anantapur manufacturing facility began operations.

Seltos Leads the Charge
The Kia Seltos, their first and best-selling SUV, reigns supreme in exports, contributing a whopping 59% of the total. Following closely behind are the Sonet and Carens, accounting for 34% and 7% respectively. Kia India’s dedication to quality and innovation is evident in the international demand for their vehicles.
A Focus on Both Domestic and International Markets
While Kia India is increasingly focusing on the domestic market, their export success story continues. They plan to maintain a steady export flow in 2024 while ramping up production for the Indian market. This two-pronged approach ensures Kia India remains a key player on the global automotive stage.
Kia’s Anantapur plant has become a crucial export hub for the entire Kia corporation. Their commitment to cutting-edge production capabilities and the highest quality standards allows them to meet the global demand for reliable SUVs.
Kia India: A Brand on the Move
Since its inception in India, Kia has built a strong presence. They’ve launched five popular vehicles (Seltos, Carnival, Sonet, Carens, and EV6), sold over 980,000 cars domestically, and boast over 400,000 connected cars on Indian roads. With a rapidly expanding network of over 588 touchpoints across 265 cities, Kia India is a brand on the move, inspiring people and exceeding expectations.
