Kia India marked a significant achievement with its popular mid-SUV. The Seltos, surpassing 50,000 bookings in just two months. This milestone solidifies Kia’s position as one of the fastest OEMs in the fiercely competitive mid-SUV segment. In addition to this, the company has achieved an impressive 400,000 domestic sales this month. Since its inception, it has recorded 547,000 sales of the Seltos, including exports.
Customer’s Preferred Choice
Following in the footsteps of its successful predecessor, the new Seltos has continued to be the preferred choice among customers. A remarkable 77% of total bookings were dedicated to its top variants (HTX onwards). Furthermore, 47% of all bookings were made for variants equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Showcasing a growing preference for cutting-edge safety and technology features among buyers.
About the Seltos
The Seltos has been a flagship model for Kia India, selling 547,000 vehicles in both domestic and nearly 100 export markets. The new Seltos, launched on July 21, 2023, boasts an updated design, sportier performance, muscular exterior, futuristic cabin, and sophisticated technology. Moreover, It offers an array of features, including 15 robust safety features and 17 ADAS Level 2 autonomous features. Notable additions include the Dual Screen Panoramic Display, Dual Zone Fully Automatic Air Conditioner, and Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof.
