Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has completed another edition of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride. The completion of the ride was done in collaboration with Indian Armed Forces. The riders showcased their unity and passion for protecting the country during this ride.
About Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles collaborated with the Indian Armed Forces to organize the Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride. It began on July 2nd, 2023, and included 24 riders from the Armed Forces. The starting point for the ride was Kohima, Nagaland.
However, the Naga Regiment of the Indian Army has undertaken this edition of the Kargil Vijay Diwas Ride. The theme of this edition of the ride was ‘First Breath to Last.
This ride has connected the birthplace of the Naga soldiers to their last breath place in the war of 1999. Meanwhile, the riders have carried the sacred soil from the land of the Nagas, with a total journey of 3,620km.
About the last ceremony and Riders
The Kargil Vijay Diwas ride ended at Kargil War Memorial in Dras, Kargil. In the last ceremony, the riders handed over the soil to GOC 8 Division, Maj Gen Sachin Malik.
The main aim of this ceremony is to pay honor to the heroes who fought to protect the country. Moreover, the riders paid their respect to the martyred heroes. This represents their gratitude for their ultimate sacrificing comrades.
In this ride, the riders have gone through various cities of the country. These cities are Dimapur, Guwahati, Siliguri, Danapur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Dras. Meanwhile, the welcome ceremony of riders was held in the dealership at Guwahati and Chandigarh.
