Bajaj/Triumph has finally taken of covers from their hotly anticipated joint venture bike called the Bajaj Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in an event held in the UK. Furthermore the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400x bikes feature a brand new 398cc Single-Cylinder liquid cooled developed by Triumph with Bosch fuel injection system and stainless steel exhaust. Additionally it comes with a 6-Speed Manual with Clutch-assist.

Bajaj Triumph 400 Design and Feaures
Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x draw design inspiration from their larger siblings, the Speed 900 and Scrambler 1200. Triumph describes the frame of these new bikes as a hybrid spine/perimeter frame constructed using tubular steel.
What’s more the Speed 400 boasts a prominent circular headlamp with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). It is equipped with 43mm Upside Down forks, a monoshock rear suspension, and 17-inch wheels on both the front and rear, Claimed travel of 140mm in the front and 130mm in the rear.








On the other hand, the Scrambler 400x features an extended wheelbase and slightly increased suspension travel reaching to 150mm both sides, enabling it to tackle rough terrains with ease. It sports 19-inch front rims and 17-inch rear rims, along with a wider handlebar for enhanced off-road maneuverability.







Lastly, In terms of technology, both models are expected to offer a range of connected features and safety functions. Moreover will come equipped with dual-channel ABS and Traction Control. However, the Scrambler 400x will provide the option to disable these safety features specifically for off-road adventures.
Pricing and Availability
There is no official word for pricing as of now but we expect it to start at around 3 Lakhs. Since Bajaj and Triumph will be revealing the full details very soon in an event held in India.
