Beijing Hyundai has recently debuted a new SUV concept called the Mufasa Adventure in China. The Mufasa is a new model that is set to be launched at the Shanghai Auto Show next month. It will be going on sale later this year in the Chinese market.
Hyundai Mufasa Concept: Exterior Looks
The Hyundai Mufasa Adventure Concept looks much more rugged than the standard vehicle. It gets a set of 18-inch custom-built alloys wearing beefy off-road spec tires giving the SUV a tall stance.
Hyundai has also thrown in a lift kit for the concept SUV along with a wider track for better grip. The muscular & hefty-looking bumper has Mufasa written on it. The massive faux aluminium skid plates on the bumpers coupled with the large, black-painted X-shaped front grille do a great job of making it look butch and macho.
The side profile features armour-style panelling, thick wheel arches, blacked-out pillars, & a functional roof rack. The concept SUV sports tow hooks on the front and the back, rock rails, handles on the hood, and a light bar on its roof making it look adventure-ready.
At the back, the SUV is fitted with an oval-shaped taillight unit resembling the one found on the Hyundai Santa Fe model sold in China. A body kit with fender flairs, side skirts, huge bumpers along with brawny wheel arches complete the look.
Hyundai Mufasa Concept: Interiors
The inside of the car has not been revealed yet but from the outside, we can make out that the interior of the car will be a sporty one. It is speculated that the SUV will have a dual touchscreen display that serves as the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
More details about the interior are expected to be announced during the official unveiling of the production version at the Shanghai Auto Show next month.
Hyundai Mufasa Concept: Dimensions
Its tremendous ground clearance makes this vehicle a great off-road SUV. The Mufasa concept SUV measures 4475mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1685mm in height while its wheelbase measures 2680mm.
The height parameters of the concept SUV may differ slightly from variant to variant.
Hyundai Mufasa Concept: Engines
The Mufasa will be drawing its power from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that will produce just 158 hp. And there will most likely be a hybrid option in the future.
