2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220 F : Prices and Changes

The new Pulsar 220F from Bajaj Auto has been introduced in the nation after being withdrawn the previous year. The cost of the new Pulsar is Rs. 1,39,686. (ex-showroom). The bike has been re-released with a number of new updates, such as updated graphics, new colours, and a Carbon edition model.

The new 2023 Pulsar 220F will go on sale in India for a price of Rs. 1,39,686 lakh, according to Bajaj (ex-showroom). The motorcycle was removed from the market last year not long after the new Pulsar N250 and F250 were introduced. However, the business quietly re-introduced the bike with updated artwork, new colours, and a Carbon edition model after noticing the market’s high demand.

Regarding the engine’s performance, it uses the well-known 220 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled fuel-injected engine, which produces a maximum of 20 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum of 18.55 Nm at 7,000 rpm. A five-speed transmission is mated with the engine.

Changes

The bike has received minor external updates and OBD-2 compliance with the most recent 2023 update, but all other information has remained the same. In compared to the current-generation Pulsar F250 (single-channel ABS variation) vehicle, which sells for Rs. 1.4 lakh, the new Pulsar 220F is quite similarly priced (ex-showroom, India). However, the 220F has increased in price by about 5,000–7,000 rupees from its former pricing (2022). Features

On the new Bajaj Pulsar 220F model, a projector halogen headlamp and an LED taillamp are standard. The instrument cluster, which shows speed and fuel information, is a partially digital device while the tachometer is an analogue device. It also has ABS and dual-channel suspension system along with a powerful engine and comfortable seating.

Design

The motorcycle has Ceat tyres with a 90/90 section up front and a 120/80 section at the back. The wheelbase length of the 220F is still 1,350 mm, and its ground clearance and seat height are also 165 mm and 795 mm respectively. The belly pan, side panels, and front fender all have a carbon fiber-like surface, which is also seen around the semi-digital instrument console in the photographs . It still has a projector headlamp, dual LED tail lamps, split grab rail, black alloy wheels, halogen turn indicators and pilot lighting, and other features.

Prices and Rivals

The Pulsar models are the most affordable bikes on the market. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at Rs. 162,411 lakh in India. The bike in this price range offers great speed and performance. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V competes against the Bajaj Pulsar 220. Honda may face competition from the CBF190R if it ever enters the Indian market. Other possibilities in the same price range are the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, and the Suzuki Sixer SF. The Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is a strong and economical motorbike that provides excellent value.
