Jupiter Electric Mobility launches two CEVs at the Auto Expo 2023

At the Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2023, Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the commercial electric vehicle division of Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL), debuted the e-LCVs JEM TEZ of 2.2 and EV STAR CC of 7 Ton GVW and made its debut in the commercial electric vehicle market.

The brand is working toward being the market leader in India’s CEV category thanks to strategic alliances and partnerships with important foreign and domestic companies with EV industry knowledge.

In order to expand into the aftersales requirements for a seamless customer experience, JEM has introduced two varieties of E-LCVs into the market.

JEM wants to execute end-to-end production in India and develop service centres in important markets. The CEVs initially targets the major metros of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bangalore, focusing on the demands for last-mile delivery.

JEM has formed a strategic agreement with North American-based GreenPower Motor Company, which specialises in Commercial Electric Vehicles for the passenger transportation and freight transport markets, to expand its current skills and expertise in the mobility solutions industry.

In order to generate a competitive product that is well-liked in the market, the strategic relationship with Log 9 Materials for electric car batteries and Xavion Mobility for vehicle design and development will prove to be tremendously useful.

The business, which has production facilities in Jabalpur, Indore, and Kolkata, has a campus that spans more than 200 acres and is skilled in mass production and the engineering of automotive components.

JEM is in a position to position its thoroughly researched and robustly constructed CEV goods in the market favourably thanks to its technologically enabled processes and highly experienced and skilled employees.

The company envisions having a full range of electric vehicles in the future, including buses, LCVs, MCVs, and HCVs.

The Centre for Energy Finance (CEEW-CEF) study estimates that by 2025, the Indian electric vehicle (EV) market will have grown to a value of Rs. 50,000 Cr.
