PMV EaS-E Microcar Launched at ₹4.79 Lakh

PMV electric a Mumbai-based startup has launched its first electric microcar at an introductory price of ₹4.79 lakh limited to the first 10,000 bookings.

The EaS-E has a top speed of 70 kmph and claims to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in less than 5 seconds! For their everyday commute, two adults and a child can fit in the 550 kilogram EaS-E microcar. The tiny car will have many riding modes and is a connected, 4G-capable vehicle that can be accessed through a dashboard on the driver’s seat.

An extensive range of functions is provided, including EaS-E mode for hands-free driving, Remote Parking Assist, Cruise Control, Remote connectivity & diagnostics, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard navigation, access to music control, and call control to the connected smartphone. EaS-integrated E’s charger can charge the device in 3–4 hours from any 15A outlet.

Booking & Deliveries

The EaS-E has been introduced throughout India. Pre-orders are now being accepted by the company for a low cost of INR 2000. To date, it has more over 6000 pre-orders from marketplaces in India and abroad. The business and its partners, who will work together to put the car into production, are in discussions to establish their manufacturing facility in Pune. The company plans to start making deliveries by the middle of 2023 and to hold test rides soon after.
