The Hyundai National Interschool Golf Trophy, India’s largest junior golf competition, and the Indian Golf Union, the country’s top golf organization, revealed their winners on November 5.
The tournament, which is associated with the International Golf Federation, was designed to foster and support young golfers in India and give them a stage on which to showcase their developing skills.

Commenting on the announcement of the winners of the Hyundai National Interschool Golf Trophy, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “We are glad to associate with the Indian Golf Union for the Hyundai National Interschool Golf Trophy and felicitate the stars of the tournament. Commenting on the announcement of the tournament winner, Ms. Aditi Ashok, World Renowned Golfer and 2020 Arjuna Awardee said: “I feel extremely elated to be associated with Hyundai Motor India for this unique initiative aimed at extending an opportunity to school students across different age groups in an effort to promote Golf at the grass root level in India. This noteworthy initiative is a huge step towards tapping young talent across the country and offering them a rich experience in competitive Golf. From October 21 to November 2, 2022, 147 schools competed in the qualifying rounds of the event in five major Indian cities: Chandigarh, Pune, Noida/Delhi, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru. A total of 427 junior golfers under the ages of 11, 13, 15, and 18 were chosen from a group of 10,000 amateur golfers. Following the final competition, which was place on November 3 at the KG Prestige Golfshire in Bangalore, the top 8 scoring in each gender’s division out of 50 finalists received prizes. The winners attended a masterclass and interactive session with Ms. Aditi Ashok, a world-renowned Indian golfer and 2020 Arjuna Awardee. Hyundai’s brand connection has been increased as a result of this cooperation, making it the most favoured automobile brand in India and a favourite among millennials and Gen alphas.
