In the sixth episode of the 2023 Ducati World Première web series, Ducati unveiled the new Diavel V4 in New Delhi, India on 29th October 2022. Upon the release of the advanced V4, The Diavel’s performance is even more impressive when powered by a GranTurismo engine.
The Diavel V4 synthesizes far-off technological, dynamic, and stylistic qualities, like those of sport naked and muscle cruisers, and is muscular, sporty, exaggerated, and elegant all at once, able to attract attention in any situation. In this way, it satisfies the needs of a wide range of motorcyclists, from sports aficionados searching for a more comfortable and fashionable bike to those who prefer to experience riding in a more urban and laid-back atmosphere to those who enjoy the performance and drag racing iconography.

The 1,158 cc V4 GranTurismo engine, a key component of the bike’s design as well as a technical decision, is used in the Diavel. This engine’s sophisticated choice of a counter-rotating crankshaft, which lessens the gyroscopic effect while increasing the bike’s agility, also enhances performance, dynamics, and riding enjoyment. Surprising agility and dynamics for a motorcycle of this size are paired with the thrilling performances of the V4 GranTurismo engine.
Due to the lighter weight of the V4 GranTurismo and unique modifications made to several of its components, the Diavel V4 has a kerb weight without the fuel of 223 kg, saving more than 13 kg (-5 on the engine and -8 on the vehicle) in comparison to the Diavel 1260 S. Ducati’s 1,158 cc V4 produces 168 horsepower. The ideal engine for a muscular cruiser combines linearity at low rpm with 12.8 kgm of torque, Throughout the whole delivery range, there is strong torque.

The Diavel V4 offers three Power Modes and four Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, and the new Wet, designed for low-grip surfaces. While Launch Control offers blistering beginnings, Cruise Control makes highway transfers more leisurely, and Ducati Quick Shift up/down makes shifting more generally less tiring and more efficient in sport riding.
