Technology-driven EV Charging Network company CHARGE+ZONE and Autocar Maker Mahindra & Mahindra on 27th October 2022 announced partnership to set-up a network of EV charging stations for Mahindra’s range of world-class electric SUVs. By the end of the financial year, Mahindra’s EV users can look to have access to the Charge+Zone’s network of over 2500 charging points across 25 cities and 10,000kms of highways. In the course of their collaboration, CHARGE+ZONE and Mahindra will look into the installation, commissioning, and servicing of fast DC chargers at a variety of locations, including owned and rented sites, workplaces, or any other places cited by Mahindra, its affiliates, and group companies. The agreement will also involve deploying e-mobility solutions that cover discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions with the goal of enabling smooth access to the charging network for all EV users.

CHARGE+ZONE has established an active B2B and B2C network for EV charging stations for fleet and retail clients as part of its aim to construct a network of ONE MILLION EV charging points. It has installed 1450+ charge ports over 650+ EV charging stations, providing daily service to almost 5000 EVs. By establishing a network of 20 unmanned, app-driven, Superfast EV charging points along the Gujarat-Maharashtra National Highway, the business also recently finished electrifying over 1000 km of National Highways in India.

These e-4w charging stations will be accessible to the general public as well as Mahindra users and partners. Depending on the capacity of the EV’s battery, the charging stations from CHARGE+ZONE are rapid DC charging points that use the CCS2 charging protocol to offer 80-100% charge in 20–30 minutes and full charge in an hour. These chargers also include other features like food courts, restaurants, motels, etc. in addition to the ability to use Type-2 AC chargers anywhere they are required.
