Triumph has launched its ‘Chrome collection’ i.e., limited-run Chrome Editions of its motorcycles from the Bonneville and Rocket 3 line-ups. Triumph says that the chrome editions of the motorcycles are inspired by the classic custom look that has been a significant part of the motorcycle manufacturer’s history. All the models that are being offered in the Chrome Collection get unique, hand-crafted chrome schemes and dedicated chrome edition accessory kits for which the company has also set up a new workshop as making these handcrafted chrome editions require five hours of additional craftsmanship per bike. Triumph is offering the chrome collection for its eight models in India whereas, in markets outside India, there are two more models -the Scrambler 1200 and the Thruxton RS that come under the Chrome collection. Being available to order only for one year, bookings for the special editions have already started with deliveries expected to go out in late 2022 or early 2023. All of the eight bikes are mechanically untouched as the collection solely focuses on cosmetics. Let us get to know the changes offered on each bike in detail.
