The luxury car maker, Lexus has introduced the upgraded ES300h which is made in India. This makes India the 4th country to produce Lexus globally and by far the ES300 has been its most successful model in the Lexus line-up. The new ES is known by the customers for its high level of quietness, superior ride quality, comfort, and cabin space and has been a best-seller globally as well as in India. The ES 300h Exquisite variant is set to be available to customers at a starting ex-showroom New Delhi price of INR 59,71,000 and the ES 300h Luxury variant at an ex-showroom New Delhi price of INR 65,81,000.
The new ES300h gets minor exterior updates and a few changes on the interior. The car now comes with better aesthetics through the seamless appearance of the Lexus emblem on the car, more storage space, and easier accessibility around the center console inside the cabin. Lexus also newly added Lexus dynamic voice recognition feature that enhances the ease of on-board operation and control, enhances the ease of hands-free operation of the trunk, added Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto as a standard feature in all Lexus cars and also got a new ‘profile function’ for user to register their own customized multimedia settings for a more personalized experience.
Lexus ES300h is available in 6 colors: Deep Blue Mica, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Sonic Quartz, and Sonic Iridium. The 2022 ES 300h is powered by the same powertrain as the older model which packs a 2.5-liter engine that produces 176 BHP @ 5,700 rpm and 221 Nm @ 3,600-5,200 rpm. The electric motor has an output of 118 BHP and 202 Nm. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission.
