Ola Electric India is going to launch a new product 15th of August on the occasion of the 75th independence day. The news came from none other than the CEO of Ola. The speculations are that it will be Ola’s much-awaited electric car. This first electric car of Ola will come with a much more futuristic design and features.

The plans of Ola have been on the move for a while now. Bhavish Agrawal CEO of Ola India recently shared a tweet teasing the New Electric car. The tweet read, “Superly excited to announce a new product on 15th August! Will also share more about our BIG future plans!!” Although this tweet doesn’t reveal much information about the car, Ola had previously teased the car where it was described as the sportier car ever built in India.
The previous teaser of the car showed a sedan with three different designs. The car gets a wedge shape design with all kinds of cuts and elements making it as aerodynamic as possible. The front of the car gets slick LED headlights connected by a thin LED strip. The LED DRLs get a red accent and an Ola logo is placed on the front. The rear features an LED light bar. This Electric car is also predicted to have unique tires and a large glass roof, the sloping roof can also be seen.
The expected range of this car is 400 km on a single charge. However, specifics about the battery pack and charging time are yet to be announced. Just like its scooter, Ola electric cars will get a bunch of new technology and segment-first features as well to set them apart from the competition. After the success of electric two-wheelers, For future plans, the company is also planning on building a more enormous factory than the current one. The manufacturing plant will be spread over 1,000 acres of land for the production of electric four-wheelers.
