Nissan Motor India, on Wednesday, launched the much-awaited Nissan Magnite Red Edition. This new edition of Nissan’s top-selling compact SUV is priced at Rs. 7,86,500 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). As the name suggests, the Magnite Red Edition comes with a ton of red contrasting bits on the exteriors and interiors. The Magnite Red Edition is priced at ₹7.86 lakh, ₹9.24 lakh, and ₹9.99 lakh for the XV MT, Turbo XV MT, and Turbo XV CVT variants respectively.

As mentioned before, the Red Edition comes with red accents to break the monotony of the exterior design. You will find red bits on the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arch, and body side cladding. Other details include bold body graphics, a tail door garnish, and a prominent Red edition-specific badge. It comes with R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, an LED fog lamp, and LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs).
Carrying forward the Red theme, the interior gets a red-themed dashboard, and red accents on the door side armrest and the centre console. The Maginte Red Edition is packed with tech including a wireless charger, a PM 2.5 air filter, an LED scuff plate, and ambient mood lighting that sets a perfect ambience. The center stage is taken by an 8-inch touchscreen with Wi-fi connectivity for Android Auto & Apple Carplay, a 7.0 full TFT instrument cluster and a Rear-View Camera with a Projection Guide.
Other features of this Magnite include Push Button Start/Stop, Vehicle Dynamics Control, Traction Control System, Brake Assist, and Hill Start Assist. The Nissan Magnite Red Edition is available in the naturally aspirated as well as the turbo petrol guise. The HRA0 1.0-litre Turbo engine is capable of producing maximum power of 100PS and maximum torque of 160Nm. It gets a claimed mileage of 20 km/l. The Red Edition is available in 1.0-litre MT, 1.0-litre Turbo MT, and 1.0-litre Turbo CVT variants.
Based on the top Magnite variant XV, The Red addition offers in three variants – Magnite XV MT RED Edition, Magnite Turbo XV MT RED Edition, and Magnite Turbo XV CVT RED Edition. The Magnite Red Edition has 2 Monotone colour options – Onyx Black and Storm White. The Maginte comes with the lowest-in-class maintenance cost at just 31 paise/km (for 50,000 km). Comes with a warranty of 2 years (50,000km) which can be extended for up to five years (or one lakh km) at a nominal cost. Nissan Magnite RED Edition also offers 2 years of 24X7 roadside assistance in over 1500 cities.
