Hero Splendor+ BS6 Launched At Rs. 59,600; Maestro 125 BS6 Gets Prismatic Colour Option

Hero MotoCorp has commenced dispatches of three BS6 products, Splendor+ in the motorcycle segment and Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125 in the premium scooter segment. These launches come close on the heels of the BS-VI versions of the Splendor iSmart and HF Deluxe motorcycles and the Pleasure+ 110 scooter, which are already available in the market. Hero MotoCorp is currently manufacturing only BS-VI scooters.

Maestro Edge 125 BS VI.

Prices for the Splendor+ BS6 start at Rs. 59,600 (Kick with Alloy wheel). Like all other Hero Motocorp’s BS6 products, the updated Splendor+ has been designed and developed completely in-house at the company’s R&D hub – the Center of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Powering the motorcycle is a 100cc BS-VI Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’ – delivering a power output of 7.91 BHP @ 8000 RPM and torque-on-demand of 8.05 NM @ 6000 RPM.

Splendor+ BS VI.

The new Splendor+ BS-VI is available in three variants – Kick with alloy wheel, Self with alloy wheel and Self with alloy wheel with i3s. The Exclusive Solid Black paintwork is available in the following combination- Purple, Grey, Red and three palette combination of Red-Black-Purple along with Ebony Grey paintwork with Green Finish.

Alongside the Splendor+, the bikemaker has also upgraded the Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125. The latter comes fitted with a 125cc BS-VI Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’ – delivering a power output of 9 BHP @ 7000 RPM and torque of 10.4 Nm @ 5500 RPM. A first for the 125cc scooter segment, the Maestro Edge 125 BS-VI comes with an exclusive Prismatic Paint technology (Iridescent) – Prismatic Purple, which changes the shade as the days go by. The scooter is available in two variants – Disc and Drum. The scooter asks for (ex-showroom, Delhi) Rs. 67,950 (Alloy wheel with Drum brake), Rs. 70,150 (Alloy wheel with Disc brake) and Rs. 70,650 (Alloy wheel with Disc brake and Prismatic Color Technology).

Destini 125 FI BS VI

On the other hand, the new Destini 125 BS-VI gets a BS-VI Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection, 125cc engine with ‘XSens Technology’ – delivering a power output of 9 BHP @ 7000 RPM and torque of 10.4 Nm @ 5500 RPM. The scooter now offers 11% higher fuel efficiency, together with 10% faster acceleration. It is equipped with Hero’s i3S technology, features a new Signature LED Guide-Lamp and a Chromed 3D Logo. It also gets a new colour –  Matt Grey Silver. Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Destini 125 start at Rs. 64,310 for the LX version and INR 66,800 for the VX variant.
