April will be the month of some serious motorsport events scheduled to be taking place throughout the month as the 2016 MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship for two-wheelers along with the Rally Championship which will be held in Goa and Bengaluru. The motorsport events are scheduled on April 17 and between April 30 and May 1 respectively.

Thirteen FMSCI National Championships will follow the revival of the two-wheeler Indian National Dirt Track Championship and the Indian National Autocross Championships in the 2016 edition. Aravind KP of karnataka is the defending champion in the premier SX1 Group A and Indian Expert Group B in the two-wheeler Supercross. He is also the INRC overall and Group A winner of the two-wheeler Rally Championship.

Apart from the two-wheeler racing events, the premier Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm for four-wheelers and two-wheelers will commence from April 3 to 10 and will run between Noida and Jodhpur. Following this event, Formula Junior Racing Series for four-wheelers, along with a two-wheeler Support Race will conduct their first two rounds on April 16-17 and April 30-May 1 respectively at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

The global competitions will also keep motorsport enthusiasts engaged with former Asia Pacific Rally champion Gaurav Gill headlining the new APRC season in Team MRF colours at the Rally of Whangarei in New Zealand between April 29 and May 1.

  2. April 9-10: IndiKarting National Series Round 1 in Pune
  3. April 9-10: Vroom drag (2Wheelers & 4Wheelers) in Bengaluru
  4. April 10: Hassan District Youth Congress Dirt Track (2Wheelers) in Hassan
  5. April 16-17: IndiKarting National Series Round 2 in Goa
  6. April 17: Westin 100 April Navigation Drive (4Wheelers) in Gurgaon
  7. April 22-24: Summer Autocross (2Wheelers/4Wheelers) in Bengaluru
  8. April 23-24: IndiKarting National Series Round 3 in Vadodara
  9. April 23-24: Lucknow Autocross & Dirt Track (2/4W) in Lucknow
