Unveiled as a concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the GO-Cross is set to compete in the ever-expanding crossover market in India and will lock horns against the likes of Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Details are scarce but the GO-Cross, which will come in the sub-4 metre length category, is expected to be available in five and a seven seater format.
The performance numbers are yet unknown but the new car is expected to be propelled by the 1.5 dCi diesel, which also does duty on other Nissan Renault cars, including the Duster and Terrano. However, there is a good possibility that Datsun may offer an all-new engine as an option.
As aforementioned, this new crossover will make its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi which is scheduled in the first week of February. We would be at the event to get you the latest updates. Meanwhile, share your views on the Datsun GO-Cross with us through the comments section below.
