As a part of its aggressive plan to increase presence across the country and enhance its existing product range, Renault has updated their Pulse hatchback with some added features. With some added blood flow that will increase its appeal, the 2015 Renault Pulse will now come with automatic headlamps, steering mounted controls and a height adjustable driver seat. The dashboard has received a two tone treatment, while the center console now comes in a piano black finish. The Pulse also gets class-leading features like an engine start / stop button, keyless entry, auto folding ORVMs and an integrated 2-DIN audio system that supports Bluetooth and USB. On the safety front, the hatchback comes with ABS+EBD, dual airbags and crash sensors, making it one of the safest cars in its segment. Prices for the 2015 Renault Pulse start at Rs 5.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Mechanically unchanged, the diesel versions of Pulse are equipped with a 1.5 litre K9K dCi engine which is rated for 64 PS @ 4000 rpm and a 1.2-liter petrol motor that develops 76 PS @ 6000 rpm. Renault has also grown its network presence to more than 157 sales and service outlets across the country, to make their cars accessible to more customers in India.
