The entry level CBR motorcycles from Honda are scheduled for an facelift very soon and the Japanese two-wheeler maker, according to Indian import and export data website Zauba, has already imported one unit of the updated CBR150R into the country.
Irrespective of the data, the good news is that the new updated Honda CBR150R will come to India soon. Cosmetically, the new CBR150R gets Fireblade style dual headlight and a new exhaust. The upcoming CBR150R also gets a Truss frame and pro-link suspension which are borrowed from its bigger siblings.

The updated CBR150R receives the same 149.4cc single-cylinder cooled motor that powers the older model but with a new dicylinder head and muffler and a remapped ECU. The new CBR150R now delivers 17.1 PS of power, 0.7 PS lesser than the old motorcycle. The torque output, however, has gone up from 12.6 Nm to 13 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and the top speed is a claimed 131 km/h.
