Volvo V40: Beautifully shot official images and video out before Geneva debut

| February 28, 2012 | 6 Comments

It’s raining teaser images and videos ahead of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Joining Ferrari, Volvo and Toyota ahead of the big show, Volvo also seems to have managed to ‘leak’ the official images and video of the sexy looking car.

The V40 carries forward Volvo’s newfound zeal to break away from its hitherto staid design and offer its products in more dynamic and youthful forms to its customers. Roughly the size of the Honda Jazz, the V40 will compete against the likes of the Audi A3 and the BMW 1-series and present itself as a more economical alternative to those premium offerings. Our interaction with Volvo India MD gave us enough hints that the V40 indeed has a very strong chance of making it to the Indian shores.

The V40 is expected to be powered by a new family of modern, powerful and efficient engines ranging from 1.4 liters to 1.8 liters in cubic capacity and powered by both petrol and diesel fuels.

Feast your eyes on this gorgeous beauty.
