Here’s another addition to the burgeoning list of teaser videos hitting the web ahead of Geneva Motor Show. Nissan is planning to dazzle this year’s Geneva show with a lot of concepts, and here’s one of them. Christened the Hi-Cross Concept, the new vehicle will join the Japanese company’s army of SUVs and crossovers. Nissan already has many SUVs and crossovers in its lineup including the Juke, Qashqai, Murano, X-trail and more. We wonder where this one fits in, although some suggest that this may well be a replacement model. Probably this is one of the reasons why there is an ongoing rumor that this may be a substitute for the rather staid X-trail. It’s tought to see how this soft roader-ish car can replace the X-trail which is quite a hardcore mud-plugger.The car is expected to be powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine among others.
The Hi-Cross may well be a hatchback with some off-roading capabilities. We can’t really be sure as this video is all Nissan has shared. Stay tuned, as we’ll get you all the details as soon as they emerge. Here’s the teaser video
