Right when the entire nation was eagerly waiting for Bajaj to introduce the KTM in India, TVS introduced a feature laden 2012 version of its popular 110cc motorcycle-TVS Star City.Adding the premium feel will be dual tone body colour options and clear lens traficators. The refreshed bike sports an all-new  headlamp and will be available in six new colour combos. The refreshing dual tone graphics options are: ‘Electric Green’, ‘Bold Blue’, Red Blaze, ‘Gold Spark’, ‘Silver Strike’ and ‘Crimson Flash’. The bike boasts of other upmarket bits like black painted alloy wheels, end can heat shield and an ‘econometer’ to help rider extract optimum fuel efficiency from the bike.

As per TVS Motor Company’s President–Marketing, H S Goindi, “This new motorcycle is a winning combination of executive class features and vibrant styling. The backing of high fuel efficiency and toughness will make TVS StaR City a much sought after motorcycle.

The engine of the new TVS StaR City makes use of TVS Motor Company’s CVTi (Continuous Variable Timing Ignition) that helps towards optimizing the bike’s fuel and power efficiency. As per ARAI certification, TVS StaR City can go 83.9 kilometers on a litre of fuel. The base version TVS StaR City 110cc starts at Rs. 38,650/- (Ex Delhi). The Indian manufacturer offers a five-year warranty on this product.
