The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is in full swing as car makers from across the globe are presenting their latest innovations to the audience. But one particular concept product that “shocked” the visitors at the motoring event is the nanoFlowcell QUANTiNO electric vehicle. Why? The drive concept comprising low-voltage system and nanoFlowcell provides the QUANTiNO with a range of over 1,000 km. Impressed already?
With its two 175-litre tanks, the QUANTiNO is able to carry 350 litres of ionic liquid in total – one tank with a positive charge and one with a negative charge. The QUANTiNO generates an output of four times 25 kW/136 HP, with a combination of nanoFlowcell, buffer system and four electric motors, giving the QUANTiNO a top speed of more than 200 km/h. The QUANTiNO uses all-wheel drive via 4 three-phase induction motors and torque vectoring for optimal drive torque distribution.
The car is one of the most beautiful electric vehicles that we have seen till now and easily makes its presence felt in the crowd. In terms of dimensions, the Quantino is 3.91 meters long and can accommodate 2+2 passengers. The car rides on a set of 22-inch wheels, borrowed from other products from nanoFlowcell, that make it stand out among other cars around.
