The five-door Volkswagen Up! has same dimensions as the three-door sibling. Hence, the wheelbase remains the same at 2.42 m. This version will also share the powertrain with its 3 door variant. As reported by us, the Up! will sport a 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline unit which will be offered in two different states of tune- a 60PS (59HP) and a 75PS (74HP) version.
The 5-door version of the Up! finally hits the UK market with a price tag of £8,360 (INR 7.24 lakh). It may be noted that VW is busy re-engineering the Up! for developing markets like that of Brazil and similar procedure might be followed before the 5 door Up! makes it to the Indian roads.
