It is Official! Volvo India has told us that the new 2014 Volv0 S60 facelift India launch would happen on October 23 and here we have all the details about the refreshed car.
Our friends would know that we have always had nice things to say about the Volvo S60 sedan. The S60 is the newest Volvo sedan in the India and has been clocking decent sales every month.
The 2014 Volvo S60 sports mildly refreshed styling, that works well with infusing some freshness into more than 3 years old car. The 3 series rivalling S60 sedan gets a new front fascia and a longer features list. The S60 also gets an option of a lowered sports chassis for all variants.
The S60 facelift also gets Volvo’s new Sensus Connected Touch multimedia system. The new multimedia system provides full internet access, internet radio, Google maps & search and internet music streaming. The system pairs with driver’s mobile phone for gaining internet access. The seven-inch touchscreen can be operated even when the user is wearing gloves. The updated car also gets a TFT instrument panel from the V40. Other than all this, the automatic variants also get steering mounted paddle shifters.
Volvo India told us back at the Pune launch event of V40 that the 2014 Volvo S60 facelift will come to India along with the meaner Polestar variant. Good times ahead for Volvo car aficionados? Definitely!
