As a part of their aggressive strategy to launch as many as 12 new products in the Indian market this year, Mercedes-Benz will launch the CLS 250 CDI coupe and E-Class cabriolet on the 25th of March, 2015. Available with a 3.5-liter, V6 diesel engine until now, the stylish four door 2015 CLS coupe in its 250 CDI avatar will be powered by a 2143cc engine that develops 201 bhp, 500 Nm of twist, mated to a 9-speed tranny. The facelifted 2015 CLS will also carry a new grille, similar to the one on the A-Class, LED headlamps and a differently designed front bumper.
For those who love driving a car that carries the star emblem under a starry sky, Mercedes-Benz will also launch the 4-seater E-Class cabriolet on that very day. The soft-top convertible comes with an electric roof that can be opened and shut at speeds under 40 kph. It will be aimed at those who do not wish to sacrifice luxury in the favor of open top motoring and will come powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 petrol motor that pumps out 328 bhp and 480 Nm of torque. All of that power will be managed by a 7G Tronic automatic gearbox that helps the 2-door convertible sprint from 0 – 100 in 5.3 seconds. Both products will be initially imported into India as a CBU
