Every time we publish something about the BMW G310R, we see a major spike in our number of visitors. But we were tired of showing you the recurring spy images. So this time around, we got you the list of accessories that may come along with the entry level BMW Motorrad model to the Indian market. According to a report, the BMW G310R will be available with a handful of accessories which include:

  • Two topcase options – a 29-litre case and a 30-litre topcase in Granite metallic grey
  • Inner bag for the topcase
  • Two seat options with different heights
  • Centre-stand
  • LED turn signals
  • 12-volt socket

The top case will come handy to lock your helmet while you are away from the motorcycle or while carrying your luggage for those long weekend hauls. The inner bag will make carrying clothes and luggage more convenient. Seat options will provide better accessibility to the riders with relatively short height while the centre stand will ease the chain maintenance process and will help the motorcycle occupy less parking space. The LED turn indicators were expected to come as stock (something that we are used to see on KTM motorcycles) but according to this list buyers would have to shell out extra money for the premium set of blinkers. An OEM 12-volt socket is a good idea considering the widening audience of touring enthusiasts.

As reported earlier, the new G310R will be completely developed by BMW in Munich and manufactured by TVS Motors in India. Local production would help BMW launch the motorcycle at highly competitive prices for the Indian market. In fact, a recent report suggested that the G310R will probably be cheaper than the KTM 390 Duke in the subcontinent. The motorcycle will be propelled by a 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine tuned to produce a power output of 34 hp of power and 28 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is expected to be available in the Indian showrooms from October 2016.
