Yamaha Motor Corporation’s American arm, Star Motorcycles unveiled the 2014 Star Bolt and Star Bolt-R bobber motorcycles. Aimed as an affordable alternative to Harley Davidson buyers, the Bolt is powered by an air-cooled 942cc 60° V-twin engine. On lines of traditional bobber motorcycles, the Bolt comes devoid of any chrome parts and is left to the buyer for any future customisation.
The Bolt-R is essentially the same motorcycle with a cooler paint job, better seat and higher spec’d piggyback gas charged rear suspension. Star Motorcycles would be offering custom accessories for these two motorcycles post their launch in July this year.
Prices for the Bolt and Bolt-R are marked at US$ 7,990 and 8,290 respectively and stacked against the twice as expensive Harley Davidson Breakout.
