Yamaha has just unveiled the new 2010 Limited white colour edition YZF- R15 and the 2010 YZF- R1. On display in Yamaha’s booth is its entire line of 150 cc bikes, YZF R15, Fazer and the FZ series. The muscle bikes VMAX and the YZR- M1 model, which The Doctor- Valentino Rossi rides on Moto GP tracks added to limelight. Yamaha’s import bikes- the 500 cc TMAX sports Scooter and 600 cc XJ6 motorcycles also joined in on the stage.
John Abraham, the model turned actor,biker and Yamaha’s brand ambassador was also present at the event. Yamaha also recently presented JOhn with the V- MAX, as a token appreciation for his association with the company. The 2010 R1 will come with a price tag of Rs.12.5 lakh whille the R15 will be priced at Rs. 1 lakh.
Everybody is waiting with bated breath for a 250 from Yamaha. We have enough reason to believe that the 2010 expo might be the event where the bike gets unveiled. Yamaha haven’t launched a new product platform for the masses since the launch of the FZ-16 ages ago.
The main attraction at the Yamaha stall will be its 2010 R1 which the manufacturer intends to officially launch at the Auto Expo. Yamaha also intends to sell a few special editions of the new R1 done up in ‘Moto GP’ stickers and featuring the Rossi’s number 46. In fact, Yamaha’s Rossi edition R1 will be unveiled by ‘The Doctor’ himself on 9th January.

The fabulous 2009 crossplane R1 is carried over as is although with new colors for 2010 as well as a special edition LE model with Fiat-Yamaha colors, ‘The Doctor’ stickers and no. 46.
