Yamaha, among the bike enthusiasts in the country is known essentially for its performance machines. And performance is what Yamaha will have at the heart of its exhibit at the 2012 Auto Expo. There is some buzz about the Japanese bike maker planning to announce a 250cc version of its Fazer, which is currently sold with a smaller engine. The new bike is expected to be powered by an air-cooled, 2-valve, 4-stroke SOHC 249cc petrol engine. Making an appearance alongside the new 250 will be the SZ-S, the FZ-16 and hopefully a couple of scooter concepts.
The Yamaha exhibit area will also boast of the YZF – R1, R6, FZ1, MT-01 and the VMAX.
