Custom motorcycles are dime a dozen these days, but only the tastefully made ones stand out. Featured here is Troy, with a style that’s its brainchild, Delhi based Nino Custom Cycles would like to place it somewhere between a bobber and a chopper, with a generous whiff of retro.
The frame is custom built from scratch, and so is the vintage style Springer front suspension, a nod to Harley Davidsons of yore. Other visual bits, like the minimalistic tank with an off-center fuel cap, the toolbox and rear fender were all fabricated in-house. The seat is a leather trimmed, hand stitched affair.
Hustling duties are taken care of by the trusty Royal Enfield AVL 500cc engine with the 5 speed gearbox, a performance air-filter being the only go-faster add on. Further accentuating the stance are a set of Avon Cobra tires, with a humongous 250 section at the rear. Gracing them are imported multi spoke, 18” chrome rims and all around disc brakes. There’s also an internal throttle system for a cleaner look to the custom handlebars.
Although this style has already been exploited more by Rajputana Customs in the past, this one doesn’t disappoint either. Though an asking price of 3.75 lakh rupees might sound steep, this one promises to be an eyeball-grabbing, immaculate build.
