With the beginning of festive season of Onam, Volkswagen, India delivered 148 cars in a day. These deliveries were made across the state of Kerala on the first day of Chingam, the Malayalam new year.
This is said to be one of the highest deliveries reported from Kerala in a single day. Another accomplishment was achieved by Volkswagen Kochi, which delivered 40 cars in one day, marking what is believed to be the highest ever bulk delivery done from a single outlet in Kerala on a single day.
Speaking on the occasion, Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said that Kerala continues to be an important market for Volkswagen and the custom of celebrating the festive season in a unique way further motivates them to make a great effort towards enhancing customer delight. He further went on to add that they are happy to be a part of such an auspicious occasion in their customer’s life.
