The brand had announced earlier that they would be bringing in the Tornado 302 and the TRK 502 in the Indian automotive market soon. What followed a few months later were spy images of the Tornado 302 completely disguised in camouflage, testing on public roads. Now as we wait for DSK Benelli to reveal the launch date, an official video of the upcoming model has been uploaded to the web.

Seen in the video is the upcoming Tornado 302, a.k.a. the Benelli 302R, doing its thing on the track as well as on the streets. The video reveals a few details about the upcoming motorcycle from Benelli. Although a fully faired sibling to the TNT300, the Tornado 302 is not quite the same. Based on a tubular frame chassis, the model receives new hardware bits such as a pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear, a redesigned tubular swingarm and a conventional up-swept exhaust instead of the underbelly exhaust on its naked sibling. What is carried over though, is the USD fork suspension setup up-front.

Transmission duties will be taken care of by a six speed transmission sending power to the rear wheel. The Tornado 302 will ride on 17 inch wheels, with a 100/70 section Metzeler tyre up-front and a 150/60 section Metzeler tyre at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by dual 260 mm discs at the front and a single 240 mm disc at the rear. An ABS system would also be on offer.
