Street racing has been one of the many reasons why supercars have bitten the dust and their lives have come to a heartbreaking end. The latest one to suffer the wrath of being owned by an gauche driver in Dubai is an Italian masterpiece, The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The red Ferrari F12 Berlinetta loses control during a street race with a Alpha 7 AMS Nissan GT-R in Dubai and crashes into the side wall of the road.
The driver of the F12 Berlinetta floors the accelerator to boast the monstrous power plant of the Ferrari but gets surprised by another car that is in the same lane as the Italian masterpiece. The driver hits the emergency brakes and the hazard light goes off. In order to prevent from crashing his car into the vehicle ahead, the driver turns the car on the right but loses control and rams the Italian stallion into the wall, scraping off the precious paint and damaging the gorgeous mastery of the supercar. Luckily though, no one seems to have been hurt in the incident except, maybe the ego and the bank balance of the owner.
The overall episode was a freak show as the carbon ceramic brakes and electronics seemed to have reduced the speed by quite a margin and the incident could have been easily avoided. But then again, we are talking about the mighty F12 Berlinetta which requires every bit of driver attention and even the slightest of stupidity can cost the driver heavily. Here is the video of the unfortunate accident:
