A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an act in unison for a brief time, then quickly disperse as if they were a part of the daily crowd. During this process some bystanders become a part of the mob, while some look dazed, some are surprised and some run for cover. Nothing in there for motor heads really.
So BMW replaced the flash mob with a Drift mob that contains five Bmw M235i’s in Red and a woman disguised as a cop to block traffic, allowing the Red cars to go about their business around a roundabout. What follows is a lot of smoke, a lot of sideways action, a lot of burnt rubber and a surprised crowd capturing the action on a cell-phone camera.
