Bajaj Auto has published its year-on-year sales for the month of July 2016 and year-to-date (April – July) sales report which shows a positive jump in the domestic business. The export business, however, has seen negative sales and has affected the overall performance.
Bajaj Auto witnessed a 21% hike in the domestic two-wheeler business with numbers jumping from 143,671 units in July 2015 to 174,324 in July 2016. The export business, on the other hand, saw 20% fall with with total sales falling from 138,762 units in July 2015 to 111,203 units in July 2016. The commercial vehicles business shared the same story with domestic sales rising by 8% while exports falling by 21%.
The year-to-date (April – July) sales too saw a good jump in domestic sales while exports suffered from negative numbers. Check out a detailed sales report for the month of July 2016 and the year-to-date numbers below.
