The good folks at Indian Autos Blog have come up with a new spy video of a sparsely camouflaged 2014 Mercedes-Benz S Class S600 Pullman that has been spotted testing on public roads of Stuttgart, Germany.

Basically, the upcoming S Class S600 (X222) is an ‘XL version’ of the 2014 S Class LWB variant and if several reports are to be believed, it is longer than the long wheelbase variant by 200 mm. Pretty obviously, most of this extra length has translated into acres of legroom for rear seat occupants. The upcoming 2014 Mercedes S Class S600 Pullman (X222) will boast of a 2+2 seating layout, and will be high on the features-front with stuff like reclining seats, larger entertainment screens, a champagne chiller and so on.

The 2014 Mercedes S Class S600 Pullman could be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year. It may be noted that China has almost always been a big market for extra long wheelbase variant of German luxury sedans and the X222 is likely to make its Asia debut in Chinese car market.

While the 2014 Mercedes S Class S600 Pullman might never make it to our shores, Mercedes-Benz India will launch the new S Class on 8th this month. The car will initially come to us in only S550 petrol variant and the S350 CDI is likely to be launched in July, along with the commencement of CKD assembly.
