Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the newest entrant in the rarified world of supercars, the TS 600, made by Tushek&Spigel Supercars GmbH. Designed in Slovenia by Aljosa Tusek, and manufactured in Austria, the TS 600 quietly made its debut at the 2014 Top Marques Monaco event held recently. Don’t let the new name fool you though; they aren’t exactly newbies to the game, having unveiled the Renovatio T500 and the Forego T700 models earlier. And while its predecessors failed to make any sizeable dent in the supercar market, Tushek is bullish about the new T600’s success.
Powered by a 4.2 litre Audi R8 engine with 620 HP of peak power and 580Nm of peak torque, the TS 600 can reportedly do the 0-100kmph dash in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is undisclosed, but we reckon it will be higher than the 310 kmph of the Renovatio T500, which had the same V8 engine, but produced a much lower 450 HP. It is also very light thanks to the carbon fibre and titanium composite construction, weighing in at just 1120 kg (dry).
However, most supercars see less track action than trips to the local millionaire’s country club, and that is where exclusivity and bragging rights come handy. Rest assured, the Tushek TS 600 will be a rarity even in Monaco, and that two-tone paint job will give its owners the desired eyeballs. It looks like a cross between the Lycan Hypersport – that other boutique supercar that recently made a big splash with its outrageous diamond encrusted LEDs – and a Lamborghini Gallardo. Head on, there’s also hint of the Porsche 918 RSR, and the overall effect is erm… that of a generic supercar, nothing to write home about.
